Brett Everett has a reputation for being able to execute complicated residential and commercial loans.

He started his mortgage career in 2003, working for San Diego lender PMC. Within a year, Brett founded his first company, securing hard money financing for clients with unique properties or real estate development projects that couldn’t fit into the conventional lender underwriting matrix.

Brett co-founded private money lender First Capital Trust Deeds (FCTD)with Ted Spradlin in 2013.

Brett co-founded private money lender First Capital Trust Deeds (FCTD)with Ted Spradlin in 2013. He has led FCTD’s push to automation technology,  improving  both borrower and trust deed investor experience. In addition to technology, he continues to originate private money loans through trust deed investors and mortgage funds.

Brett lives in Orinda, CA with his wife Melaine and their two young children.
